The BEANSTALK Scholarship Program is designed to support the achievements of young students who are seriously engaged in the art of dance and to expose and engage under-served and low-income students to high quality dance training.

The BEANSTALK Scholarship Program was founded in honor of one of The Concrete Rose Dance Academy’s top sponsor and supporter, Jasmine “Beanie” Fleming. Since the opening of TCRDA, Mrs. Fleming served as a silent sponsor, helping so many girls be successful in the academy. This scholarship will honor her continuous contributions to The Concrete Rose Dance Academy by affording students the gift of dance.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Each applicant must meet the following criteria and submit the following items to be considered:

Must be between the ages of 7 and 17
Fill out the application in the packet
Submit 2 reference letters from their teachers
Submit a 60-second original choreography video based on the criteria outlined in the application packet
Submit a 200-word personal essay on the topics outlined in the application packet
